We provide private and small group tuition for LAMDA examinations in speech and drama at our studios in Merseyside. Children from the age of 5 may take introductory examinations. From the age of 9, children may work through the grades from Grade One to Bronze, Silver and Gold (Grade Eight). Coaching is also provided for diploma examinations and speech and drama festivals.

LAMDA qualifications are very highly valued and hold increasing importance as entry requirements into some secondary schools and can count towards UCAS points. 

LAMDA Examinations represents a route by which anyone can unlock and discover their unique potential, and the broad range of subjects and grades serves this purpose. Individuals are empowered in all areas of their everyday lives by developing a confidence and a clarity of expression and communication – and one which remains, uniquely, their own.

LAMDA examinations can be passed, passed with Merit, or passed with Distinction – the highest mark.

In addition to examination tuition, class work includes exercises for improving speech. Common speech faults include substitution of "v" or "f" for "th" sounds, lisps, glottal stops and dropped aitches.
