What ages do you teach? We take children from the ages of 5. There is no upper age limit and we take adults of all ages.
What is the structure of a lesson? The structure and length of a lesson depends on the age and level of the student. Group classes are normally an hour in length. Some individual classes may last for two hours. All lessons include a short yet intense warm up for the body and voice.
How many are there in a class? In an exam class there will be no more than 5 pupils. In some classes tuition is offered on a one-to-one basis or one-to-two basis.
Do I have to take examinations? No. Some of our classes, however, are specifically focused on LAMDA examinations. Some students may wish to have lessons to help with a specific monologue, piece of verse or prose or to improve speech.
When are examination sessions held? We enter students into examinations in March, July and November of each year.
Why take an examination? The examination programme provides students with the opportunity to:
build self confidence and esteem
acknowledge levels of achievement and acquire skill certification
measure and build on a record of personal progress
receive appraisal and guidance for future development from expert assessors
Where do lessons take place? Lessons take place at our studios in Liverpool City Centre. Occasionally, our tutors may undertake home visits.
Are tutors CRB checked? Yes - all tutors are CRB checked.
