Our Principals
Our teaching staff are headed by Co-Principals, Sam Donovan and Nick Rogers.
Sam Donovan
Sam Donovan has taught drama for over 15 years. He graduated in English from the University of Liverpool before training at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London. His professional credits as an actor include: Room On The Broom (West End, UK, US and International Tours), Salome (UK Tour), Erics (Liverpool Everyman), Billy The Kid (Unicorn Theatre) and Walking on Water (Theatre Centre) for which he won the Dorothy L Sayers award for acting. Sam's credits as a director include Our Boys, David Copperfield, Angel and Christmas Re-loaded. As Artistic Director of PapaTango Theatre Company, Sam is responsible for bringing the award winning and critically acclaimed Foxfinder to the stage.
Nick Rogers
Nick Rogers has taught drama for over 15 years. Theatre and TV credits include various UK tours, Hearts and Minds, Pleasureland, and The Agents. He is an Artistic Associate with Red Lion Theatres which runs the Old Red Lion and New Red Lion Theatres in London and is a director of Arcade Productions. As a producer, his recent productions include: The Importance of Being Earnest (Theatre Royal Haymarket, West End), Stepping Out (UK Number 1 Tours), The Ukulele Project (Edinburgh & UK Tour), Our Boys (Tour, Pleasance Theatre London and Criterion, West End) Decline and Fall (London) and Artist Descending A Staircase (London).
