Understanding how a theatre school can work can sometimes be a bit confusing so we've pulled together a series of frequently asked questions that we are commonly asked before a child starts with our school
What you need to know
From what age do Performers take new students?
We accept new students from the age of 3. We have a special Musical Munchkins class for pre-schoolers which covers Ballet, Tap and Modern.
Can I try Performers before committing to a full term?
Yes, we offer a free trial. Please fill out the form on this page and we will get in touch about arranging a free trial.
How much does it cost to attend Performers?
How long is a term at Performers?
There are four terms a year and each is 10 weeks long.
When does Performers run?
Our classes run on Saturdays and Sundays.
How long does Performers run for each week?

Can students take exams?
Yes. We follow the ISTD syllabus (for Ballet, Tap and Modern examinations) and the LAMDA syllabus (for speech and drama examinations). There are several examination sessions during each school year. Examinations are optional.
What does my child need to wear to Performers?
For your child’s trial class, please wear comfortable clothing and flat footwear. If your child decides to join, we have uniform guidelines in place.
