About me

Jenna began teaching at Performers in 2007 and became Head of School in 2012. In 2024, she stepped into her current role as Co-Principal.

​

She trained at North Liverpool Dance Academy, where she achieved Licentiate status with the ISTD and pursued Fellowship qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and National Dance. Jenna also holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre Studies with Dance from Liverpool Hope University, graduating in 2013. She is an examiner with the British Ballet Organisation and continues to work professionally as a choreographer.

Alongside her work at Performers, Jenna is a senior college tutor for the ISTD’s DDE teaching qualifications, working nationally across Units 1, 4, and 5. She is also qualified in Childhood Education with a CACHE Level 4 in Early Years, and specialises in safeguarding through her experience as a foster carer.

“I’ve been lucky to perform in lots of amazing places, but my heart has always been in teaching. Performers is my home - a second family - and after more than 16 years, I still love every minute.”
